When a face bow is not provided by the doctor, all of our edentulous cases are mounted on The Acculiner and then transferred to a semi-adjustable articulator. The Acculiner is an orthopedic analyzer/articulator that is used to register, analyze and treat the occlusion. It helps establish the plane of occlusion relative to the HIP (Hammular Incisive Papilla) plane. In short, this revolutionary piece of equipment gives us the average values of a face bow when one is not used.
