Implant Supported Denture

This case was referred to us from an implant company after multiple failed attempts at other labs to fabricate an implant supported denture for this patient. The case had difficult obstacles to overcome including severely mal-aligned implants and a very strong bite. The trial set-up was done first to determine tooth position and then we designed and fabricated a CAD/CAM titanium implant bar. Due to the patient’s strong bite and their history of destroying previous prosthesis’ we maintained a full palette, cast individual struts into each denture tooth and recommended a single tooth implant to oppose tooth #3 in order to help with the patient’s propriaception. The patient has been wearing his new denture for several months with success and is very happy.
