At Wiand Dental Laboratory, we use SR Ivocap Injection for every case we process. Ivocap Injection quality dentures are the standard for aesthetics, comfort, fit and function. With sophisticated instrumentation, all facial information is recorded to recreate the character of the smile and restore the natural contour of the lips and facial muscles. Premium Ivoclar Denture Teeth are used to reflect light through several layers that mimic natural teeth. The quality materials resist wear, chipping and staining. DURAFLEX™ FLEXIBLE PARTIALS
An alternative to Valplast, DuraFlex is a flexible and monomer-free thermoplastic dental resin. This product is intended for the fabrication of temporary partials of small to medium size full removable dentures as well as occlusal splints and nightguards. It is not intended for long-term restorations as metal frame partials remain the standard for long-term restorations. It is also not intended to be used as a unilateral restoration. CLEARsplint™ THERMOPLASTIC NIGHTGUARDS
At Wiand Dental Laboratory, we highly recommend nightguards for all your patients to both protect their dental work as well avoid potential TMJ issues. CLEARsplint is the optically clear nightguard with flex. It is a modified composite powder and liquid which is press packed. The material is amine free so it will remain clear and never yellow. CLEARsplint is self adjusting when placed in hot water before inserting in the mouth. It is also MMA free and is therefore non-allergenic. IMPLANT SURGICAL/CT GUIDES GUIDES
We fabricate both SR Ivocap injected implant surgical stents as well as CT guides for the most discerning doctors. Surgical guides allow the oral surgeon to truly service the restorative doctor and laboratory to their exact specifications. They also help to provide optimal positioning and avoid the need for pre-angled abutments reducing the risk of implant failure and poor aesthetics.

For X-Rays used to determine if bone grafting is needed, we offer Gutta Percha and radiographic markers with Barium Sulphate. The stent then becomes the actual drill guide in which we can provide a standard hole, a graduated sleeve or metal hole for precise implant placement. For CT guides, we offer Barium teeth which provide a more accurate picture of the entire tooth structure in relation to the situation of the bone below the tissue.

Overall, the use of surgical guides means that bone is no longer an issue allowing for optimal placement of the implant and best possible outcome for your patient.

RELINES
All relines at Wiand Dental Laboratory are heat cured. Due to the amount of time involved in this process, we ask that you schedule your relines in advance. Heat curing prevents discoloring of the denture base and allergic reactions as well as provides a stronger denture base and precise fit for your patient.

IMMEDIATE LOAD PROVISIONALS & CONVERSION
For doctors who offer or would like to offer their patients All-On-Four or DIEM Immediate Load Provisionals, Wiand Dental Laboratory is equipped to assist the surgeon and/or restorative doctor chair side in the surgeon’s office. One of our highly trained Certified Dentals Technicians (CDT’s) will join the doctor on-site to execute the lab work the day of surgery allowing the patient to go home with a fixed provisional same day. The provisional is fabricated ahead of surgery and we then convert the immediate denture to a fixed provisional chair side.

TAP® ANTI-SNORING/SLEEP APNEA DEVICES
More people are snoring than ever lacking a good night sleep. In fact, one in five Americans will have some degree of snoring or Sleep Apnea by 2020 according to scientists studying this disorder. The TAP (Thornton Adjustable Position) is an anti-snoring device that provides minimally invasive therapy for snoring and sleep apnea. Snoring occurs when the muscles relax making it difficult to keep the airway open. A shift in jaw position results in a narrow airway thereby producing vibrations known as snoring. Obstructive Sleep Apnea occurs when the airway completely collapses and blocks airflow to the lungs. The more difficult to breath, the tighter the airway seals. The breathing stops because the airway is closed. Without enough oxygen, the brain has to wake the patient up enough to start breathing again.

It is also the only mandibular advancement device that can be adjusted by the patient or doctor while in the mouth. Most patients experience relief the first night they wear their TAP.
