Indications
- Patient is identified as a heavy bruxer
- Limited inter-occlusal space
- A more durable tooth is desired
Advantages
- Superior wear resistance
- Reduced possibility of tooth shearing
- Requires less inter-occlusal space
- Does not require additional angle correction as the tooth can be cemented over screw channel after seating the frame
