The Acculiner Dental Articulator | Orthopedic Analyzer Base

When a face bow is not provided by the doctor, all of our edentulous cases are mounted on an Acculiner and then transferred to a semi-adjustable articulator. The Acculiner is an orthopedic analyzer | articulator that is used to register, analyze and treat the occlusion. It helps establish the plane of occlusion relative to the HIP (Hammular Incisive Papilla) plane. In short, this revolutionary piece of equipment gives us the average values of a face bow when one is not used. This device will help bring stability and precision to your patients’ dentures.

Why the Acculiner is Different

acculiner articulator

  1. Designed based on the premise that the maxilla is the foundation of the occlusion – not the mandible.
  2. Designed to accommodate both rotational and translational movements of mandible – TMJs are not hinges nor is the AccuLiner

The Acculiner Dental Articulator stands out from the rest because it focuses on the maxilla being the base and this allows more flexibility for your patients with their dentures. Most of the other competing products are not made with the same quality and dependability that this articulator encompasses.

Call Wiand Dental for more information about why we use the Acculiner, or any of our other services & products. Not only are our products made with our dentists in mind, they are made with your patients’ satisfaction as our primary focus for successful outcomes and happy patients.

Please note: We do not sell Acculiners, we simply use them in our fabrication process.
