Full Arch Impressions
Did you know that different from C&B, removable impressions need to capture way more than just the teeth? This means capturing the entire vestibule and all anatomical landmarks which help us with tooth position and better retention/fit. If you are pouring and trimming your own models, be sure you don’t cut off the Hamular notches, they are critical for full arch cases. Always load up your tray with plenty of impression material, more is better in this case. And when in doubt, re-impress before that patient leaves the chair!
